Overview:
Genesis tablets contain Finasteride 1 mg in Blister packs of 3x10 tablets. Finasteride is a type II alpha-reductase inhibitor, and is effective in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (male-pattern baldness).
Finasteride blocks the action of an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase. This enzyme changes testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow. It will increase testosterone levels in the body, which decreases prostate size.
